Marcia and Bob moved to Fernandina Beach, Florida a year ago to be closer to family following 4 years as full time RVers. Visits to Crater Lake and Yellowstone National Parks were two of many great experiences they shared, usually with a couple of grandkids as companions.
Marcia had surgery for melanoma on her scalp five years ago. Metastatic lesions in her lung and brain were found in December of 2019. Over months of surgery, immunotherapy and radiation she was brave, determined and strong.
Our family is deeply grateful for the many prayers and thoughtful messages from friends and family. We will plan for a celebration of her life at a future date.
Community Hospice of NE Florida supported Marcia at home and in their inpatient clinic with respect, dignity and empathy. The family asks if you wish to remember her please donate to this wonderful organization.
Honor her by always wearing sunscreen and having annual skin exams.
